Have a fun/safe weekend

Don't take too many razor filled apples, leave some for the kids! (I joke, I joke!)
15 to 20 / You'll Disappear Remixes
The Phenomenal Handclap Band

This is one of those hipster NYC bands that I hear a lot about but have never really gotten into. But they have a new Remix EP (my kind of remix release - 16 tracks!!! Lol!) and so I thought I'd give em another chance. Still not going to change the world, but "15 to 20" is decent and I like the remix here. Plus the EP has a Thomas Prins remix, always a pleasure.

losing momentu...

Can't. seem. to. shake. this. lethargy...
Sales on Amazon this month (with a week to go) are the lowest... well, ever. Well, excpet for... October 2005 and 2007. In fact October seems to be the slowest month, usually about what salesa re this month.
Wow, wierd. I guess everyone is saving up for Christmas... or in this economy... food.
Trendwise sale susually stay low until about March. I think everyone stops buying music for themselves and buys it for others and then people are broke until they pay off Christmas about March or April.
Or it could be that no is buying music any more :-)

Royskopp vid / Zombie Girl

You know - ok - I run a small label. I like ot think what Ninthwave puts out is pretty good. Not for everyone, but at least it has some melody, prodcution values, good artwork (thanks Todd! Haiminh!) you know, some thought behind it.

As I troll IODA's Promonet to bring you cool new music I am struck at how much really bad stuff has been thrown up on the internets. Music is subjective, but especially in the dance/electornic genre there seems ot be a lot of stuff that is simple to a fault (minimal doe snot mean no creativity) or thin sounding. Never mind melody.

and the artwork on some of these things- not even level one photoshop. Some seem to be done with some sort of Windows Photo labeler.

But hey, whom am I to cast stones. I will refrain from posting what I consider offending titles, artwork or tracks... unless there is interest? :-)

Meanwhile - here is some scary intense (good)music for your halloween weekend -
